In the spirit of the month and Halloween, has any SG model here produced (even a modern day) an image set or video looking like Elvira? I've been a member here for a long time, and I can't ever remember seeing any cosplay of her specifically.

I love Elvira!! 🖤🖤 I guess we have at least two sets: https://www.suicidegirls.com/members/leacheyenne/album/4457415/elvira/ and https://www.suicidegirls.com/girls/luciana/album/3412453/mistress-of-the-dark/

An impromptu trip to Colorado... with the primary mission to visit an old uncle (who was turning 84 years of age), and also to go camping with my brother. I drove to Colorado from California and it takes me 15 hours to get there. I took supplies for camping and my camera too, of course! Here are some photos from our three day, two night...

This birthday girl was 22 back when we did this photoshoot in 2008. I remember getting a little nervous when we first met because she really looked under-age without makeup, and because I don't know how to sign (language) and it added an extra challenge to our session. So, I really didn't get to appreciate the images until after I sorted and edit some. Over

Coming up on July 30th, my Susie-Q and I will be going to see John Fogerty at the Hollywood Bowl. This will be the third time we catch his concert there. First time was July of 2009, the second time was July of 2015 (pictured here). It's a great show and his songs are classics!! His sons perform with him... they have a band called...

There's just some of these days that I love so much!! It's the best time of year to recognize and celebrate them and the models who wear them so well!! I was busy today and nearly missed it all together... got this in a little late. I give you excuse to go ahead and wear them tomorrow too!! My model in this photo is Melissa....

That's today... so, I'll contribute. Don't want anybody thinking I won't play along! I shot this today as I was out running errands... at the red light, I grabbed this pic of me in my pickup truck! Have a great Selfie Day, and drop me a selfie in your comment here.

Do you have a friend from WAY back when that you're still close to? Jeff is like a brother to me. In the picture, you see us showing off how good we looked for our prom dates, and then 40 years later... a week ago when I went back home to Colorado. Jeff has been through a tough time... he recently lost his brother... "our"...

Drove to my old hometown of Pagosa Springs in Colorado. Did a variety of things while I was there, which included visiting with family and friends. I even connected with people I hadn't seen in a LONG time too. My brother, my son and I did some work on the grave sight where my (mother's side) grandparents, my parent and uncle are buried. It was...

Been keeping busy with projects for my home, but also having fun with the challenge of building something new. I have never built a Cajon before, and even though you can see many great "how to" videos on YouTube, I get the idea and then make it my way. I'm a big guy, and I was worried that a tiny light duty cajon wouldn't be...

Thanks for the detail, it's really interesting.  Being a luthier, did you consider using a tone-wood like spruce or cedar?  I can't imagine pine being particularly resonant, though you might have gotten the same strength with a thinner hard wood like maple, but maybe it works differently for a percussion instrument.
geosilva:
Well, for one... I'm not a luthier.  Technically, I've assembled a few guitars and modified some.  So, my ventures into building something are more to just see if I can.  "I have no special talents.  I am only passionately curious".  (Albert Einstein).  That's who I am.  Yes, I could use a cabinet grade (multiply) thinner ply and make as strong a box, and quite honestly... I understand that there are woods that are considered "tone".  But sometimes I play and work with what I've got or can easily get.  Every once in a while I build something that didn't turn out well, and sometimes I have to tweek and alter, make changes to get where I want it to be.  But I'm most often pleased with the opportunity to build and create.  A serious Cajon player/builder probably wouldn't even like my build, and I'm OK with that.  I got the satisfaction that I wanted out of that project.  More to come...

So, I was thinking... even though I'm old school and don't like the term, but if a girl calls her man "Daddy", but gets herself some strange on the side, does she then call him "step-daddy"?

rare:
I like to call them daddy even if I don’t have any daddy issues 🤓

I've talked about how I like working on images from past shoots, but I encourage you to continually go back and take the time to look through those archive sets. In this digital age, it's easy to have 300-600 photos from a two hour session. It's easy to miss or not completely realize images from that shoot. This shoot from Stacey happened back in May...

She is stunning, incredible work.
geosilva:
@1snowy1 she was 21 at the time... looked like 14 without makeup, and you're right, she's quite the cutie.  She's deaf, so the challenge on that day was communicating.  There we a lot of paper writing and body language used.
