At what point am I too old to dance to The Beetles “8 Days a Week” in the grocery store? Yes, I know I’m probably on someone’s TikTok, but I don’t care.

I hope you NEVER stop dancing. I sometimes think I'm far too old for a lot of things that I enjoy (mini skirts, roller skating, sleeping with a teddy bear) but to hell with society's expectations (and my mother's 😉) and I hope we're still doing that shit in our sixties and onwards! P.S. please don't be shy to share said TikTok video if it crops up 😜

You're never too old 👍😀!

When you see a commercial with a fake couple, does anyone else ever wonder if one of the actors looks at the other and thinks “I could do so much better than them! Couldn’t they get me a hotter actor for my fake spouse?” Or am I just really shallow?

I'm sure it happens, but there are probably also a lot of times where they are thinking "I wish I was really in this couple".

For all the Americans celebrating the 4th today, please be safe and responsible. Especially those in hot and dry areas. Please douse used fireworks in water and don’t light any near dry wild growth.

You don't need to identify yourself with the people you want to help, otherwise you risk burning out very quickly. The leaden melancholy of depression is that everything seems meaningless and useless, this is one of the main symptoms. Getting support and understanding is very important for people suffering from mental illness. You are a great fellow who tries to help people and it is worthy of honors and respect.  Remember, you are just a person, you try to help people as well as you can. Lots of love for you.  ❤️

Thank you @alexislust. I’m working on it. I always think that people without empathy never really feel true joy either. The joy of really helping someone. Seeing and hear the gratitude and feeling good. Your support and others on here helps me to.

I am now at seven months straight of doing yoga every single night. I still look like a drunk hippo on ice, but now I’m a drunk hippo doing more complex and long yoga on ice.

@pistache yes, it is my pond garden. The only place I had room was the corner of the front yard. I wasn’t sure at first, but I wanted a pond to try pond plants. Now I like it because walkers keep asking me about it and check out the progress when they pass.
inkedodie:
@lasvegas7 @starry yes I want fish. I need to get the plants established first. We have cranes (the bird) in the area and the fish need places to hide.

The photographer @natalia_randle has done a dramatic set in black and white with the gorgeous girl @olimooo. The images are so dynamic and beautiful. I love black and white and the power dark shadows have to make parts of the picture just pop. Please check this out Here, you won’t regret.

While I am tagging staff, I don’t want this (my) blog on front...

These are such relaxing plants to grow. Slowly training them to climb and grow. Standing on a small later in the evening breeze, slowly tying up and training your wisteria. Slowly wrapping the plant around in place, measuring the string, cutting it, then tying the plant to the arbor. Looking back at last years growth, now hardened into permanent bark. Very little thinking, just simple...

That's so lovely! It's amazing how far a small seed can grow and covering everything in green, I love seeing your garden with those beautiful plants/flowers! I'm looking forward to see more of them 😊❤️

I’ve had a stressful few days. Yet, my garden always brings me back to calm. One of the best treatments for depression, anxiety, panic attacks and many other mental health problems is simply reconnecting with nature.

My garden! In my pond section I’m going with pink/blue theme for flowers.

@inkedodie my favorite smell is a blooming jasmine!
inkedodie:
@shenzy that is a good smell. My favorite is lavender. I think it is that because I had the most success with lavenders early in my gardening journey. Plus, I love watching the bees on lavender.
