Ministry and Skinny Puppy was already in my blood, then I discovered Prong and saw them live. Alongside with Pailhead, Industrial side project of Al Jourgensen (Ministry) and Ian McKaye (Minor Threat/Fugazi), KMFDM, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad, etc. I was already listening to more tame tastes as Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails years in advance.
I discovered Godflesh and became one of my favorites in the late 80's Industrial metal wielding the schizophrenic, cold, distant and suffocating shield and sword front from the UK. Old school Earache Records masters still crushing it all decades later. Just as described like their first full length Streetcleaner, it comes at you like a bulldozer. They still have stuck to their guns, and have never disappointed.
